Nigel commenced his career at the famous Savoy in London moving on to Claridges where he learned the skills required to fulfil his chosen path in line with his passion for cooking. 

He was involved in the preparation of 7 State banquets, including the banquet of the year for Prince Charles & Lady Diana Spencer’s Wedding. 

He continued to provide top class food for many celebrities and visiting dignitaries to these top class venues. 

During his expanding career Nigel had the fortune or (misfortune} to even work with the famous Gordon Ramsey. He has however not picked up on any swear words.

After 8 years Nigel moved to the four star de-luxe Cannizaro Luxury Hotel in Wimbledon.

Nigel was awarded 3 rosettes and was given a special award from Pierre Koffman (the father of culinary excellence) for a provocative menu inspired with innovation!

Nigel tired of London. deciding to return to his home in Bedfordshire. It was at this time he was enticed to take up the mantle of Executive Head Chef for the famous Market Place Restaurant owned and frequented by Lord & Lady Russell at Woburn.

Nigel continues his search for excellence providing the freshest local produce for Gabriel’s.
